Early Childhood Education has been a part of my purpose and passion for over 40 + years. In those years I have been a family child care provider for 17 years, Paraeducator for Stedwick E.S & Watkins Mill High School for 5 years, MSDE Office of Child Care licensing specialist for 15 years, Adjunct Instructor at Montgomery College Early Education for 14 years, Center Director for 4 ½ years, currently serving my 4th year as a board member of the Child Care Commission appointed by County Executive, board member Maryland State Child Care Association for Montgomery County and Montgomery County Workforce for Early Childhood Education. I graduated from Montgomery College AA and BA from Ashford University. To serve in a leadership position to help make a difference for the children, families and educators that care for children every day! This is the goal to make a difference every day because I can’t repeat it tomorrow.
